Came across a Trunk with this on it. Looking for where it came from
I started this hobby back in 2015, and have progresses from a single cheap quad to a house and garage full of planes, quads, trucks, and even a boat. When I'm in Mississippi I fly at the Mississippi Coast RC Club. I now live in Springville Alabama and fly at the Birmingham RC Club and Ashville SVI Club.

This just got here today. Not sure if I'll have it ready this Sunday for a maiden or not?

FlightLine P-51D Mustang 850mm (33") Wingspan - PNP
This is my second FlightLine P-51D Mustang 850mm (33") Wingspan - PNP, hit a chain link fence with the first one, and turned it into confetti. I love how the plane flies. It has an FrSky S6R flight stabilization receiver to help out in the wind.
It will fly with anything from a 3S 2200 / 4S 2200 LiPo battery.
I chase Hobbyking EF EXTRA planes with it.

EFxtra Motor in Dogfighter
After crashing my EFXtra I had a lot of left over parts. I ordered a Multiplex Dogfighter (actually 2 kits) to put the parts in.
I had to move the stock motor mount supports back into the fuselage to support the large 3536-1780KV Aerostar Outrunner Motor . I ordered a motor mount from Custom RC Parts, and use a soldering iron to cut out slots to move the motor supports back,
I'll post more when the motor mount arrives.

Spirit 600mm Wingspan EPP FPV Racer Flying Wing RC Airplane KIT
This is my second Banggood Spirit 600mm EPP FPV Racer build. The first one I made as light as possible (110 grams, less battery). I love to fly it when there is no or little wind.
This new Banggood Spirit 600mm EPP FPV Racer build should penetrate better with the added weight (180 grams, less battery) and stiffening up the wing with carbon rods and laminate.
- Emax 6 amp ESC
- Turnigy 1811-2900 with a 4x4.5 prop.
- Emax ES9251 2.5g servos.
- FRSky XMR (micro receiver)
- Turnigy 2S 1000 mah Battery
This is the FRSky XMR micro transmitter used on both planes. It only has solder pads. Not telemetry and range is about 900 ft, I've never lost control on this receiver.
Original Spirit (110 grams not batter)
Original Spirit aileron servos in fuselage.
This new Banggood Spirit 600mm EPP FPV Racer build should penetrate better with the added weight (180 grams, less battery) and stiffening up the wing with carbon rods and laminate.
- Emax 12 amp ESC
- Turnigy 2211-1700 motor with 5.45 prop or maybe a 6x45
- Turnigy 3S 1000 mah battery
- Tower Pro SG50 Micro Servo
- FrSky XMR micro receiver
- Caddix Turbo Micro S1 Camera
- FXT FX806TC - 5.8GHz 25mW Race Band Detachable VTX
Looks like it is going to rain tomorrow, so no maiden. Maybe next weekend
I'll post more pictures as the build progresses.| This is my first Caddix camera. |
Turnigy 2211-1700 motor
Before laminating the wing and ailerons. Used some small solid carbon fiber rods to stiffen up the wing
I laminate the wing and ailerons. Not sue if I'll do anything the fuselage?.
Had these servos laying around.
Moved the servos to the top of the wing for better authority.
Only thing left are the fins.
The carbon rods really stiffen the wing up. I don't think 3 s will be a problem at all.

RC EYE One Xtreme
RC EYE One Xtreme
Bad Crash 1
I finally broke the plastic frame and replaced it with a Polycarbonate from Phoenix Flight Gear. It was a lot stronger that the stock frame.Bad Crash2
I flew if for another month or so and crashed so hard till I broke the power pins off the flight controller. I had stared reading post on all the forums about flight controllers. I decided to give OpenPilot a chance (I really liked that it was open source). I ordered a Andoer DIY FPV 260 V1 G10 Mini Multicopter Quadcopter Frame Kit 260mm from Amazon (later figures out all it was was a Diatone clone)Goodbye RC EYE One Xtreme
